The yard has later also been occupied in main overhauls and lengthening of older Seafinn yahcts, giving firsthand insight into structural strength and weaknesses of older boats. In December 2000 a decision was made to establish a new company (ltd) with three shareholders. That company, Seafinn Yachts Oy was accepted 21.03.2001 by National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland into the register under the number 1645342-6. Finnish boatyards are known for their boat building skills. Already for decades, the Finns have built the best sailboats and yachts in the world. Seafinn is located in Turku, in south-western Finland. Also the world¿s largest and most luxurious cruise ships come from this area. In order to optimise delivery times, budget efficiency and to secure the high quality of its products, Seafinn has developed project management systems to best benefit from the solid and historic shipbuilding experience offered by the Turku region. The use of high quality subcontractors ensures that the quality of the end product is high and fulfils the requirements set by the customer.
